About these terms

These terms govern your use of Outside and this website, provided by Techsauces Inc, based in Georgia, United States. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory rights under applicable consumer and privacy laws are not excluded by these terms.

Your account

You must be legally able to accept these terms, or have the authorization required by applicable law. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

Do not impersonate someone else, misrepresent your authority to organize a trip, or send unwanted invitations. You are responsible for making sure information you enter about another person may be shared for the trip.

A planning tool, not a booking service

Outside helps groups coordinate destinations, activities, tasks, conversations, expenses, and logistics. It is not a travel agency, booking provider, emergency service, or a guarantee that any destination, venue, route, accommodation, or activity is available or safe.

Check bookings, entry requirements, travel advisories, dates, time zones, prices, and accessibility directly with the relevant provider or authority. Each traveler remains responsible for their own travel decisions and arrangements.

Expenses and payments

Expense and settlement features are records of costs, allocations, and payments made outside Outside. The app does not hold funds, collect debts, transfer money, provide financial advice, or guarantee reimbursement. Confirm amounts, currencies, splits, and payment arrangements with your group before relying on a balance.

Any agreement to share a cost or repay another traveler is between the people involved. Do not place payment-card numbers, banking credentials, or other financial secrets in notes or messages.

Your content and shared trips

You retain rights you have in your content. You give us the permission necessary to host, store, display, transmit, and process it to provide the service, including sharing it with travelers who have access to the trip. Only upload content you are entitled to use and share.

Trip owners, admins, and members have different permissions. Other authorized travelers may change or remove shared plans or content through available controls. Group members may keep copies outside the app. The Privacy Policy and account-deletion page explain current retention behavior.

Acceptable use

Do not use Outside for unlawful activity, harassment, threats, discrimination, exploitation, scams, spam, or sharing private information without permission. Do not upload illegal content, infringe intellectual property, bypass access controls, scrape private trip data, distribute malware, or disrupt the service.

See the Community Guidelines. Use Support to report concerns. Outside is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.

Third-party services

Apple, Google, map services, hosting providers, and travel providers may have separate terms governing their services. Third-party links do not imply an endorsement. We do not control information or services supplied by third parties.

Availability and changes

Features can change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, network issues, or circumstances outside our control. An internet connection is needed for sign-in, synchronization, and changes. Cached content may be out of date. Keep your own copies of important bookings and travel information.

No particular feature, availability level, or future release date is guaranteed. Where applicable law requires notice of a material change, we will provide that notice.

Ending use and account restrictions

You may stop using Outside or request deletion through the app. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address violations, unlawful activity, security risks, or harm to other people, subject to applicable law. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Responsibility and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees that all information is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. We are not responsible for arrangements made between travelers or with travel and payment providers simply because they are recorded in Outside.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive a right to bring a claim that applicable law protects.

Questions and changes to these terms

We may revise these terms and update the date shown above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Questions can be sent through Support.
