Delete your account in Outside
- Open Outside and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile and scroll to Account Security.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the request.
This is different from signing out or uninstalling the app. The app sends the deletion request to the server. If it reports an error, do not assume the request completed; try again or contact support.
Before you delete
Keep your own copies of bookings and information you need. Coordinate any outstanding group expenses with your travelers. Where the app permits it, remove personal information from messages, trip notes, and other shared records you do not want to leave behind.
What the current flow changes
The current implementation disables account access, removes active sign-in sessions and linked social identities, unregisters push tokens, removes or replaces account/profile details, and replaces traveler references with a deleted-traveler identity. Sign in with Apple tokens are revoked as part of the supported deletion flow.
Shared records can remain
Deleting your account does not currently erase every contribution from a trip. Shared messages, trip details, expense records, and historical names embedded in those records can remain visible to other travelers. Backups and operational logs can also have separate retention periods.

Cannot access your account?
Use the password-reset option in Outside, or your original Apple/Google sign-in method. If that does not work, contact our privacy contact from the account email where possible. We may need to verify identity before handling a data request. Never send your password or a verification code.
